1. ABOUT VIDYASETU
VidyaSetu is an educational management platform designed for schools, tuition classes, coaching institutes, colleges, academies, and individual teachers. The platform enables management of attendance, homework, notes, academic records, reports, notifications, parent communication, and related educational activities.
2. USER TYPES
A. Teachers
Teachers may create and manage educational organizations and may act as Organization Owner or Organization Member.
B. Parents
Parents may access student-related information only after proper approval and association with a student record. Students do not maintain independent user accounts within the platform.
3. ORGANIZATION OWNERSHIP
An Organization may represent a School, Tuition Class, Coaching Institute, College, Academy, or Individual Educator. The user who creates an Organization becomes its Owner and is responsible for student management, parent management, teacher invitations, subscription management, organization configuration, and compliance with applicable laws.
4. OWNER PERMISSIONS
Organization Owners may create, edit, and delete classes and batches; add, edit, and remove students; approve and remove parents; invite and remove teachers; manage subscriptions; access attendance, homework, notes, marks, reports; and send notifications.
5. MEMBER PERMISSIONS
Organization Members may access and manage attendance, homework, notes, marks, and reports; access notifications; and view student and parent information. Members may not manage subscriptions, create or delete organizations, invite teachers unless specifically authorized, or remove organization owners.
6. MULTIPLE ORGANIZATIONS
A teacher may belong to multiple organizations using a single account. A teacher may own one organization, be a member of another, and participate in multiple organizations simultaneously without separate accounts.
7. PARENT ACCESS
Parents may not directly associate themselves with students. Association requires parent account creation, valid join code submission, organization approval, and successful student linkage. VedNova reserves the right to reject or remove parent associations when necessary.
8. STUDENT RECORDS
Student records are maintained within organizations. The same individual student may appear as separate records across different organizations (for example: School Record, Tuition Record, Coaching Record). Each record may be managed independently.
9. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS
VidyaSetu subscriptions are based on student capacity limits. Subscription plans may include:

- Setu Plus
- Setu Pro
- Setu Elite
Pricing, student limits, features, and plan availability may be updated at any time.
10. STUDENT LIMITS
Each subscription plan includes a maximum student limit. When an organization reaches its assigned limit, new student creation may be restricted and upgrade requests may be required. Existing student records will remain accessible.
11. SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRY
Upon subscription expiry, the Organization enters Read-Only Mode. Users may continue to view attendance, homework, notes, marks, and reports. Users may be restricted from creating new students, recording attendance, creating homework, creating notes, creating marks, or using subscription-restricted features. Data will not be automatically deleted solely because a subscription expires.
12. DATA OWNERSHIP
Educational records stored within an organization belong to that organization. Records may include attendance, homework, notes, marks, and reports. If a teacher leaves an organization, historical educational records may remain associated with the organization.
13. ACCEPTABLE USE
Users agree not to violate applicable laws, impersonate others, access unauthorized information, upload malicious software, disrupt platform operations, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems. VedNova may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
14. PAYMENTS
Subscription payments may be processed through approved payment methods and channels made available by VedNova. VedNova reserves the right to modify pricing, plans, billing cycles, and payment processes.
15. REFUNDS
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, subscription fees may be non-refundable after successful activation. Refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
16. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, upgrades, and external service failures may affect availability.
17. TERMINATION
VedNova may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, compromise platform security, or misuse educational data.
18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VedNova AI Technologies LLP shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform.
19. MODIFICATIONS
VedNova may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
20. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Maharashtra, India.
