Delete Your ClassNova Account

ClassNova is operated by VedNova AI Technologies LLP. Teachers and parents can delete their own ClassNova account from inside the app at any time. No manual approval is needed.

1. Open ClassNova and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Legal → Delete Account.
3. Tap Delete My Account, enter your account password, and confirm.

If you have lost access to your account or no longer have the app installed, you can ask us to delete the account for you.

Email [email protected] from the email address registered on your ClassNova account, with the subject “ClassNova account deletion”. Include your name and your registered email address or mobile number. We verify ownership of the account before acting on a deletion request, and the same 7-day recovery period described in Section 3 applies.

Deleting your account is a two-step process, and it works the same way for every account type — Organization Owner, Organization Member, and Parent:

1. Immediately: your login access is removed and you are signed out on all devices. The account can no longer be used to sign in normally.
2. For the next 7 days: the account is recoverable. If you log back in during this window, the deletion is cancelled and your account is restored.
3. After 7 days: if you have not logged back in, the account and the personal information associated with it are permanently deleted. At that point it cannot be recovered, by us or by you.

A few things are handled differently:

• Educational records created inside an organization — such as attendance, homework, notes, announcements, leave requests and reports — belong to that organization and may remain with the organization after a teacher or parent account is permanently deleted.
• Student records are created and managed by the organization, not by students themselves. Students do not have ClassNova accounts.
• Payment and invoice records may be retained for longer, as required by applicable tax and accounting laws. Card and UPI details are entered into and processed by Razorpay and are not stored by ClassNova.
• Records may also be kept longer where required by law or to resolve a dispute.

Deleting your account deletes your personal ClassNova account. It is not the same as closing an organization or cancelling a subscription.

A teacher account can hold memberships in more than one organization. Account deletion applies to your whole ClassNova account, not to a single organization — leaving one organization is a separate action inside the app.

If you deleted your account by mistake, simply open ClassNova and log back in within 7 days of deleting it — this cancels the deletion and restores your account automatically.

If more than 7 days have passed, the account has been permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. If you're unsure how much time is left, contact [email protected] and we'll let you know.
